Nauman Afzal Afridi pic


USEFP regrets to announce the tragic passing of Fulbright alumnus Nauman Afzal Afridi. Mr. Afridi was a career civil servant working in the Pakistan Administrative Service since 2005 with a stellar record of performance. Over the years, he took on various administrative positions in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Deputy Commissioner of South Waziristan Tribal District. Most recently, he served as the Chief Economist in the Planning and Development Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In 2014, he completed his Master’s in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
