EducationUSA’s Spring 2026 South Asia Tour brought representatives from 16 U.S. higher education institutions to Pakistan from February 8 to 17. Large-scale fairs across three cities drew almost 2,000 attendees, giving students and parents the opportunity to engage directly with university representatives.
Held in Karachi on February 10, Lahore on February 13, and Islamabad on February 15, the fairs enabled students to explore undergraduate and graduate programs, learn about the admissions process, and receive guidance on financial aid and scholarship options.
The participating institutions — six of which were visiting Pakistan for the first time — included:
- University of Bridgeport
- University at Albany, SUNY
- Louisiana Tech University
- Queensborough Community College
- Widener University
- Troy University
- Kent State University
- Indiana University Indianapolis
- Middle Tennessee State University
- Stony Brook University
- University of New Hampshire
- Manhattan University
- Augustana University
- Cloud State University
- San Jose State University
- Duquesne University
EducationUSA continues to play a vital role in expanding access to world-class academic opportunities by connecting Pakistani students with accurate and comprehensive information about U.S. higher education.
Beyond the fairs, the tour also created opportunities for deeper engagement through school visits, counselor networking, and engagement with Pakistani culture across the country.
