On February 26, USEFP closed applications for the 2026 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA), which offers Pakistani secondary school teachers an opportunity to participate in a fully funded professional development experience in the United States.
The program is designed for government school science and math teachers of grades 8 to 10 and focuses on strengthening subject knowledge, enhancing classroom practices, and building familiarity with U.S. education systems. Selected participants travel to the United States for six weeks of academic seminars, instructional training, and hands-on classroom experience.
As part of the program, teachers complete a 40-hour field placement at a U.S. secondary school, gaining practical exposure to innovative teaching methodologies. They also take part in cultural engagement activities and opportunities to connect with similar educators from around the world.
