Launch of Fulbright Heroes season two

Chronicling the inspirational journeys of nine Fulbright master’s and PhD alumni, comes the second season of Fulbright Heroes 2017-2018. The short documentary series captures the range of contributions made by Fulbright alumni towards development in Pakistan. The alumni featured in season two have channeled their Fulbright experiences in the U.S. to improve the lives of many Pakistanis, providing much-needed interventions in health, education, energy, accessibility, and policy reform.

Fulbright Heroes 2017-2018 has been produced by United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) in collaboration with filmmaker and Fulbright alumna, Haya Fatima Iqbal. The heroes whose inspiring stories have been documented this season include: Madiha Nasrullah, Muhammad Anwar Ul Haq, Samar Naqvi, Tahir Cheema, Tanzeel ur Rehman, Faraz Khalid, Khadija Shahper Bakhtiar, Azmat Hussain and Tayyab Azeem.

The first documentary of the series has been launched on USEFP’s Facebook page, with weekly installments lined up every Thursday at 4:00 PM. You can watch the Fulbright heroes narrate their experiences here.
