EducationUSA Pakistan Senior Adviser Shiza Toor won the Innovative Programming Award at the EducationUSA Global Townhall held in December. This recognition shines a spotlight on advisers who are passionate about advising and introduce innovative ideas to enhance their center’s services.
Shiza’s notable accomplishments include leading a group of nine Pakistani high school counselors to attend the International Association for College Admission Counseling (International ACAC) 2023 conference in Miami as well as organizing campus tours in collaboration with Study Michigan.
“The professional development of counselors is a cause that resonates deeply with me and it is truly an honor to be acknowledged for it globally,” said Toor.
She is the first recipient from Pakistan to win an award in this category.
