This September, Team EducationUSA Pakistan collaborated with its South Asian partners in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh to host virtual graduate and undergraduate education fairs. The two online events were held a week apart: the Graduate Virtual Fair took place on September 3 for prospective Master’s and PhD students, and the Undergraduate Virtual Fair was on September 10 for aspiring Bachelor’s students. Representatives from 56 U.S. higher education institutions (HEIs) participated in the graduate fair, and 74 participated in the undergraduate fair.

Around 1,500 students and parents gained valuable information about academic programs, campus life, financial aid options, and application procedures. These virtual tours not only allowed students to connect with HEI representatives, but also gave them resources to find programs in line with their personal and professional aspirations. EducationUSA Pakistan advisers were present throughout to answer questions and help guide students. The easy-to-use platform and convenience of joining from home contributed to the success of the fairs.
