This quarter, Global UGRAD alumna and accomplished assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Anum Sher was awarded the prestigious Excellence in Criminal Investigation award at the World Police Summit 2025 held in Dubai from May 13 to 15. She competed against officers from 192 countries and distinguished herself through her outstanding performance, with a focus on two convoluted cases she solved in Punjab.

No small feat

The award recognizes exceptional expertise and professionalism in the field of criminal investigation. Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, presented the accolade during a ceremony attended by police and security leaders from across the globe.
