Under the umbrella of the Humphrey Impact Awards, administered by USEFP’s alumni department in partnership with the Institute of International Education, Humphrey alumna Dr. Shumaila Memon organized the ‘Girls Leadership Bootcamp’ from July 19 to 20 at the Center of English Language and Linguistics at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.
The event aimed to promote gender equality and leadership and brought together female undergraduate students from 12 universities. During the bootcamp, participants engaged in workshops and interactive sessions focusing on influential language usage, inclusiveness, and conflict management.
The goal was to arm participants with theoretical knowledge and practical tools that could help them navigate challenges in their professional and academic journeys. The emphasis on interactive learning ensured that each student gained valuable insights and skills essential for future leadership roles.
