EducationUSA’s Middle East and South & Central Asia Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC) Karen Bauer visited Lahore and Karachi from August 19 to 22.
During four packed and productive days, Bauer held one-on-one meetings with the team, met counselors, toured selected schools and Lincoln Corners, and engaged in discussions with U.S. consulate staff in both cities.
Bauer, flanked by Team EdUSA, visits Aitchison College in Lahore.
“I cherish my visits to Pakistan because I get to witness firsthand the incredible work our EducationUSA team is doing to guide students towards opportunities in the United States,” said Bauer. “The highlight was connecting with the dedicated counselors who work tirelessly with the students every day. They are the true superstars. A special acknowledgement to the team members in Karachi and Lahore who continuously ensure that everyone has the most accurate and current information.”
Bauer’s visit also included fun moments of team building, full of food and laughter.
