Under the on-going U.S. – Pakistan University Partnerships Grants Program (UPGP), the Alumni department awarded five new grant awards to the following institutions:
- International Islamic University Islamabad (Department of Politics and International
- Relations)
- Kinnaird College (Post Graduate Department of English Literature)
- University of Balochistan (Institute of Management Sciences)
- University of Gujrat (Centre for Media and Communication Studies)
- University of Peshawar (Institute of Management Studies)
Through the awards, these five lead universities will develop 50 new partnerships with public sector universities across Pakistan to train full-time permanent faculty in pedagogy, research, curriculum development, and administrative leadership. UPGP is administered by USEFP and funded by the United States Government.
