Partnership Grants Bolster Faculty Development Across Country

UPGP 2024

Under the on-going U.S. – Pakistan University Partnerships Grants Program (UPGP), the Alumni department awarded five new grant awards to the following institutions:

  • International Islamic University Islamabad (Department of Politics and International
  • Relations)
  • Kinnaird College (Post Graduate Department of English Literature)
  • University of Balochistan (Institute of Management Sciences)
  • University of Gujrat (Centre for Media and Communication Studies)
  • University of Peshawar (Institute of Management Studies)

Through the awards, these five lead universities will develop 50 new partnerships with public sector universities across Pakistan to train full-time permanent faculty in pedagogy, research, curriculum development, and administrative leadership. UPGP is administered by USEFP and funded by the United States Government.
