USEFP welcomes two new members to its team:

Syed Asad Ali Shah: Asad Ali joined USEFP in 2019. After completing his undergraduate degree from NUST-Islamabad, he went on to complete his Master’s in Public Administration at the University of Montana. At Montana, he worked as a teacher’s assistant for Introduction to American Government. He is passionate about his work and looks forward to helping students find their own path to academic success. Outside of work, he loves playing golf and spending time with his family.

Shandana Mufti: Shandana Mufti joined USEFP as an EducationUSA advisor in 2019. She has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northeastern University in Boston (not Chicago! That’s Northwestern). Before joining EducationUSA, Shandana worked in the Social Justice Resource Center at Northeastern University, educating students about social issues and helping student activists navigate campus life. At USEFP, her focus is on helping high school students apply to U.S. colleges and universities. In her free time, you’ll find Shandana on the floor playing with dogs and cats and on the streets rescuing injured animals, or in the kitchen whipping up vegan desserts and baked goods.

Recently, USEFP bid farewell to Communication Officer – PUAN, Sarah Atiq. We wish her all the best as she moves on to new opportunities.
