Recently, we traveled across Pakistan, from Gilgit to Karachi, to talk to students about the prestigious Fulbright Program. The team, which included Executive Director Rita Akhtar, Program Director Saleem Razaque, and officers from the Program department, conducted several outreach sessions at public and private colleges and universities. They interacted with hundreds of students and researchers, sharing valuable information about not just this scholarship but also other opportunities.
The spaces visited included Beaconhouse National University, FAST University, and Forman Christian College in Lahore; the Institute of Business Administration, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, and Indus University in Karachi; and IMSciences, Lincoln Corner, and Edwardes College in Peshawar. Most recently, the team traveled to Gilgit and Hunza, where they explored various campuses of Karakoram International University and were warmly welcomed by the students and faculty.
These visits are part of our annual Fulbright outreach, where we meet ambitious prospective applicants, share information about the scholarship, and answer their pressing questions.
