In October, EducationUSA’s Lahore and Karachi teams ventured out of their cities to hold sessions in Sargodha, Faisalabad, Daharki, and Hyderabad. These sessions proved to be a great success as they introduced many new students, counselors, and school administrators to EducationUSA’s advising services and tangible prospects of studying in the United States.

In Sargodha, advisers visited The City School, Beaconhouse, and the University of Sargodha. The next stop was Faisalabad, where the team held sessions at Firststeps School of Arts and Sciences, Angels International College, Roots Ivy International, The City School, Beaconhouse, the University of Agriculture, and the National Textile University. Over 500 students participated in the university visits, whereas around 300 A-level students attended the sessions held at the high schools.

In Daharki, the Karachi team gave various presentations to students of Engro Grammar School. They also led a personal statement workshop and held one-on-one meetings with students who had more focused queries about the application process and financial aid. In Hyderabad, the team conducted sessions for AS- and A-level students on topics ranging from early applications, essay writing, financial aid and EducationUSA’s 5 Steps to U.S. Study. Over 80 students attended the meetings.
