USEFP is currently accepting applications for the 2027 Fulbright Program for fully funded Master’s and PhD study in the United States. The deadline to apply is April 1.
Funded by the United States Government, the prestigious and highly competitive scholarship supports graduate study in a wide range of disciplines and covers tuition, required textbooks, airfare, a modest living stipend, and health insurance.
In a message to prospective applicants, USEFP Executive Director Peter Moran emphasized the program’s commitment to inclusive access and long-term impact.
“We welcome applications from candidates at the full range of higher education institutions in Pakistan and from all regions across the nation,” said Dr. Moran. “The Fulbright Program evaluates merit in context – recognizing both academic achievement and the obstacles applicants may have navigated along the way. At its core, the program is about building human capacity in Pakistan, so successful candidates are those who plan to return home and contribute meaningfully to the country’s development.”
Applicants from all academic backgrounds are eligible to apply, with the exception of clinical medicine. Priority fields this year include the sciences, technology and AI, trade and economics, and natural resource management.
