On October 29, USEFP closed applications for the 2026 Fulbright Scholar program, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Like each year, academics and professionals who have already earned their Ph.D. degree and are eager to share knowledge, pursue research, and collaborate with peers in the United States were invited to apply.
The program offers opportunities for Pakistani scholars and professionals to undertake postdoctoral research or teach at U.S. institutions for up to ten months. Those selected are expected to engage with American professional peers and share insights about life and culture in Pakistan during their grant period. Scholars from all disciplines – except clinical medicine – are encouraged to apply. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or terminal degree and demonstrate strong academic and professional experience.
The program covers airfare, a living stipend, health insurance, and incidental research expenses.
