USEFP is excited to announce that the selection process for the 2026 Fulbright Master’s and PhD Program is currently underway. For the 2026 Fulbright Program, we received approximately 900 applications from December 1, 2024, to March 5, 2025. The number of applicants reflects a growing interest among Pakistanis in pursuing their graduate studies in the United States.
During the application cycle, we organized a series of online and in-person information sessions to guide potential candidates. These sessions provided applicants with the opportunity to gain insights into the Fulbright experience, with GRE workshops helping to prepare them for the next steps in their academic journey. Participants connected with Fulbright alumni from diverse fields, who shared their experiences and advice on the various study programs available at U.S. universities.
The Fulbright selection process is highly competitive and rigorous. Currently, our selection committee is shortlisting applicants for interviews scheduled to take place between July and August. Final selections will be announced by the end of September.
In parallel with the selection process, USEFP is also finalizing the placements of 88 students who are set to join U.S. university campuses this August. We look forward to welcoming the 2025 cohort at the pre-departure orientation in Islamabad this July.
